| Aesta is the smaller of the two inhabbitted continents on Gahtla. The countries of EvLaisir & Barbahas (plus the island country of Neitch located off its north-western shore) were once struggling both economically and in agriculture. But then Elettia made a settlement in the (at the time) uninhabbited north of Aesta (what is now known as Karakksei). |

In the religion of Pillars, it is said that Aesta was the point of Wind and was barren because its opposite, Earth, would only slow Wind down. This was apparently what started the "Cleanse of Aesta" (the attack of Barbahas on Karakksei). To this day, even with vegitation filling Karakksei and much of EvLaisir, Aesta is still unnaturally and unreasonably windy (excluding Shriin due to it's now tree covered mountains proving as an adequate barrier). |
