What to say?Well, obviously I love to write and draw, 'tis the whole reason why you're reading this.
I also love to read (books, comics, etc). I got into comics via my two older brothers' comic collection (my favorites were of course X-Men and Spiderman :P ). Due to lack of money (and the fact that the only comic shop within walking distance was bought out and run into the ground T.T;;; ) I fell out of touch with the "classics".
I turned my attention to manga and fell in love with Japan.
I started to make my own comics (first a terrible, terrible original story my freshman year; then an Escaflowne doujinshi I started my junior year; and then I started to write my own original story that you see today, Gahtla Legends).
It was in the early fall of 2004 that I stumbled upon "OnlineComics.net" and realized that making your own comic was a pretty big idea.
I had seen several online comics (like Penny-Arcade or Living in Greytown) but Online Comics had webcomics that were like comic BOOKS!
I was immediately pulled in and spent countless hours going through the different sections (finding jewels like "Directions of Destiny" and "Emerald Winter") and quickly realized that my little dream of drawing a comic was all-too-real.
And thus...taa-daa!
